We welcome Nana Yan, a new PhD student in the Pliotas group. Nana will be working on mechanosensitive channels and combine single molecule electrophysiology and EM to understand the role of mechanical sensing and response in cell physiology. All members of the Pliotas group wish Nana the very best of success in her new, challenging and exciting scientific adventure.
