Christos will be giving an invited talk on the 17th of December at 2pm, at the Institute of Biology, Medicinal Chemistry and Biotechnology, at National Hellenic Research Foundation (NHRF), in Athens, Greece. In his talk, which is entitled: “Unravelling the gating mechanism of integral membrane proteins: Could lipids be the key to a universal ion channel regulation?”. In his talk he will describe a multidisciplinary approach followed to investigate the gating mechanism of the mechanosensitive channel of small conductance MscS and the role of lipids in its regulation.
