In our recent article published in the journal eLife, entitled: “Conformational dynamics and asymmetry in multimodal inhibition of membrane-bound pyrophosphatases” we used PELDOR (or DEER) spectroscopy to monitor the entire conformational ensemble of integral membrane Pyrophosphatases (mPPases) in soliution. In particular, we probed the transitions mPPases undertake under physiological conditions and in presence of biophosphonate inhibitors. More details about this article could be found here.
