Two new collaborative papers have been published online in Chemistry and Scientific Reports respectively. The first paper, published in Chemistry (in collaboration with Dr Bode’s group, Chemistry, St Andrews), describes a novel method developed to supress unwanted multi-spin effects occuring during PELDOR measurements on protein multimers. The second paper, published in Scientific Reports (in collaboration with Dr Lucocq’s group, Medicine, St Andrews) describes a new method based on electron microscopy for quantifying nanoparticles, including empty or carrying reconstituted ion channels, liposomes and nanodiscs.
