We welcome Jessie Ngo, a new White Rose BBSRC-DTPs summer student in the Pliotas group. Jessie will be introducing targeted modifications on membrane proteins to improve their thermostability. She will then test these modifications by thermo-fluorescence and functional assays to assess the function and integrity of these newly created protein constructs. All members of the Pliotas group wish Jessie the very best of success in her new, challenging and exciting scientific adventure.
