In our recent article published in the premier journal Angewandte Chemie, in collaboration with Sheena Radford and Neil Ranson et al in the Astbury Centre, entitled “Darobactin B Stabilises a Lateral-Closed Conformation of the BAM Complex in E. coli Cells” we performed In-Cell EPR distance measurements (PELDOR or DEER) complemented by cryoEM and showed the antibiotic darobactin B stabilises a lateral closed conformation of the BAM complex, when is added in intact E coli cells.
